Meet The Team.
<Scr=”Code”/> consists of a group of 5 3rd year Bcom Informatics students studying at the University of Pretoria. We are a dedicated team of INF 370 Students ready for any challenge. Founded in 2020 and based in Pretoria <SRC=”CODE”/> is currently working on developing and implementing the system for the Canny Kids Academy Nursery School.

OUR CLIENT.
History of Canny Kids Academy
The school was started in 1998 in the Doornpoort area. At first, they rented a part of another preschool as their only classroom. In 1999 the principal and owner Louise Limper bought a piece of ground also situated in the Doornpoort area and started to build her own school. In 2000 Canny kids’ academy was officially opened with a brand-new building and 4 classrooms

A bit about the Canny Kids Academy Owner
Louise Limper is the Owner and Principal of canny kids’ academy.
When she married, her and her husband moved to a close by, then small community called Doornpoort.
Doornpoort is in the northern parts of Pretoria (not Pretoria North).
She realized there were no English preschools in the area and seized the opportunity.
Doornpoort was growing quickly and a lot of English-speaking families moved into the
area. Louise saw that these families had no where to go so she started a small school.
The school was so successful that in only two years they had the resources to move to a bigger location.
Louise has been the principal and owner for 22 years.

Our Project.
The client has requested that we create a safe and reliable system to store all documents and academic records of students as well as a fast and efficient communication medium between parents and teachers.
Our solution consists of an Admin Website to store student, teacher and parent information and keep track of all documents and records as well as a Parent Portal to facilitate the communication between parents and the school
